{"id":2420,"date":"2011-11-11T16:41:40","date_gmt":"2011-11-11T15:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.braintank.ch\/wp\/?p=2420"},"modified":"2026-03-23T14:31:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T13:31:33","slug":"das-wort-zum-sonntag-kanban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/braintank.ch\/?p=2420","title":{"rendered":"Das Wort zum Sonntag: Kanban"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>Kanban<\/strong> (Japanisch: \u770b\u677f) besteht aus Kan was soviel wie&#187;Signal&#187; bedeutet und&nbsp; &#171;ban&#187; was \u00fcbersetzt &#171;Karte&#187; oder \u201cTafel&#187; bedeutet. Daraus k\u00f6nnen wir ableiten, das eine Kanban Karte ein Signale f\u00fcr eine Aktion darstellt. Darum trifft man in der \u00dcbersetzung auch den Begriff &#171;Signalkarte&#187;. <\/em><em><br><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanban ist eine Technik aus dem Toyota-Produktionssystem, mit der Lagerbest\u00e4nde reduziert werden und ein gleichm\u00e4ssiger Fluss (<em>Flow<\/em>) in der Fertigung hergestellt werden soll. Kanban in der IT \u00fcbernimmt zwar den Namen, versucht aber keine direkte \u00dcbertragung einzelner Techniken aus der Produktion auf die IT. Vielmehr werden einige grundlegende Prinzipien aus der <em>Lean Production<\/em> (\u201aSchlanke Produktion\u2018), und mehr noch dem <em>Lean Development<\/em> (auch <em>Lean Product Development<\/em>), \u00fcbernommen und erg\u00e4nzt durch die <em>Theory-of-Constraints<\/em> und das klassische Risikomanagement. Damit steht Kanban in direktem Zusammenhang mit zu Scrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanban weist viele Gemeinsamkeiten mit dem agilen Managementframework Scrum auf, steht jedoch in keinem zwingenden Verh\u00e4ltnis zu diesem. Weder muss man zuerst Scrum einsetzen, bevor man Kanban einf\u00fchrt, noch schliessen sich beide Ans\u00e4tze komplett aus. In gewisser Weise l\u00e4sst sich Scrum als <em>eine<\/em> m\u00f6gliche Implementierung von Kanban ansehen. Der Haupt-Unterschied zwischen beiden Ans\u00e4tzen besteht darin, dass Scrum Iterationen (\u201eSprints\u201c) mit festen, stets gleich langen Zeitr\u00e4umen (<em>Time-Boxes<\/em>) zwingend vorgibt, w\u00e4hrend Kanban per se kein Iterationsprinzip vorschreibt, dieses jedoch auch nicht ausschliesst. Weiter sind bei Scrum die Eingabe- sowie die Ausgabekadenz synchronisiert, w\u00e4hrend diese bei Kanban explizit entkoppelt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanban wird auch von anderen Produktionsbetrieben mit sehr viel Erfolg genutzt. Ein Beispiel, das mir gut geblieben ist: Swiss, die Fluglinie in der Lufthansa Gruppe, welche f\u00fcr den Gewinn zust\u00e4ndig ist, verbessert kontinuierlich ihre Prozesse und Abl\u00e4ufe damit.
